How it's made

  1. Duckweed fronds on the surface of a raceway, seen from above

01 Duckweed covers our black-lined raceways near Islamabad.

  2. A harvest scoop lifting duckweed from the raceway

02 We skim it off the surface and leave enough to regrow.

  3. Freshly harvested duckweed spread out to dry on a tarpaulin

03 The harvest is dried into a protein-rich meal.

  4. GreenFin pellets

04 The meal is formulated and pressed into GreenFin pellets.
